The girls already "help" unload the dishwasher. Your older two ought to be good at it, even if they can't put away high stuff. They also help put away groceries, not always completely accurately or welcome, but not harmfully and partially genuinely helpful. That's why a bag of apples surprised Deb recently by being in the meat drawer. They also folded and put away one of the last loads of their clothes!
So reading between the lines, don't let them tell you they're too young for stuff they likely are not.
Actually, i am trying to set up a chore list and wanted to make sure I wasn't putting anything on there that would be, our of the realm of possibility. Julia LOVES to help put away groceries!

My kids will do all of that sometimes i have to ask more than once, but most of the time they love it.
The laundry is the hardest, i can get them to bring up but not put away.
Have you seen the Duggers they have like 17 kids, kids as young as like 7 are doing way more than I do LOL.
