Well, maybe not instead of bitching about it but in addtion to. I don't actually have any real feeling that my "getting out there" will work, but hey, it might make me feel good.
The Board of Education must need to take the MCAS to prove themsleves smart, since apparently they think that the way to get students to actually pass the damn test is to raise the minimum score required to graduate.
Yeah, that's a good idea.

Seriously trace, this is getting out of control. I keep talking about doing something but I think I really am going to now. I can write a kick-ass letter which is going to be my first step. I am going to send copies to anyone who is anyone (the governor's office, the Board of Ed, local and state representatives, and to the President himself if I have to). I am going to research other methods of "getting my point across" and I will let you know what I come up with. This shit just makes my blood BOIL!
that is what i was thinking if you go to the mass.gov site it shows the 6 people on the board WITH ADDRESSES. i was thinking of writing a letter, mabye we could coordinate somethign together, and send off.
